This Wawa Convenience Store is a design that reflects the unique features of the local Wallingford Train Station. The rooflines, windows and exterior finishes create the illusion of the train station and the building appears to feature a second floor. The second floor creates the illusion of a two-story building while allowing the store to have a unique elevated ceiling upon entering the store. The Board of Media requested this design as this site sits at the entrance to the town of Media from the east and the Borough’s request was that the building design create an appearance upon entering the town along Baltimore Pike.
